ARIADNE is an undergraduate student robotics team, which works in relation to Automation and Robotics Lab, at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Its purpose is to give engineering students, an opportunity to work on modern robotic, control and automation systems, providing them with valuable experience, skills and knowledge. Furthermore, the team participates in international robotics challenges every year.
Our current activities focus on industrial applications, utilizing intuitive user experience via graphical users intefaces, accomplanied by dynamical adaptiveness. Our fields of expertise are extended to physical Human - Robot Interaction (pHRI), motion generation, grasp planning, computer vision and we are expanding every day to new domains, while keeping up to date with state of the art algorithms and methods.
